Meet Max!
Max was picked up as a stray dog along with Ruby in Morden, MB.
They both stayed at the Morden Vet Clinic for a week and no came to retrieve them, so the staff at Morden Vet Clinic signed them over and released them into the care of our rescue.
Max is roughly 2-3 years old. He is a very sweet boy and gets along great with other dogs. Max is kennel trained for when no one is home and for sleep.
He is working on his house training and it’s getting better every day. (*Once he is neutered, this will improve drastically.)
Max has had his first set of vaccines and will be going for his neuter and booster vaccines on July 18th. He will also have his narrow nostrils widened, elongated palate trimmed, and get a dental cleaning. He will be tattooed and microchipped the same day.
Max would do best in a home with other dogs, so he can learn from them about manners and to help gain confidence with his family. It did take him a few days to adjust to his foster family, but now he is fitting right in. He loves to cuddle with his new fur foster siblings and his foster parents.
Max will be On Hold until after his surgeries, but we are accepting adoption applications for him and will arrange to do home visits with families, prior to his surgery date.
