UPDATE:
Penelope (now Penny) has found her forever home in Saskatchewan. She loves her new family and has a furry sibling named Pepper! We are excited for Penny, starting her new life with her new family! Congratulations!
The Boston Terrier & Pug Rescue of Southern Manitoba would like to introduce you to Penelope.
Penelope is a two year old Pug/Chihuahua X. Also known as a Chug. Though you don’t see very much Chihuahua in her, it’s most likely a very small amount.
She is a very sweet and quiet girl who is house trained and knows her basic commands. She listens very well and really wants to please. She gets along with other dogs, cats and children. She is well adjusted and hasn’t doesn’t seem to have any real fears.
True to her breed, Penelope is a big snuggler. She loves to lay beside you on the couch or in bed, and will even choose snuggling over the offer of dinner.
Penelope is up to date on her vaccines and is due for her spay, palate, dental cleaning on August 14th. She tested negative for Heartworm and is on Heartworm preventative medication.
When you meet Penelope you will be awestruck by her beautiful eyes. Eyes full of love and trust.
For such a young dog, Penelope has a an old and gentle soul. She demands nothing; only asking for love in return. She is sensitive in nature and may take a little longer than most pugs to settle into a new situation. This girl is well worth the wait.
